Markets in Everything: Hire A Professional Ad Writer to Help With Your Dating Profile

"Make your inbox go from empty to full of promise. I'm Kate Houston, I've been an award winning ad writer for 20 years. I find out what makes you special then, with a few choice words, I make you irresistible.

Online dating is competitive. With thousands of singles online, even good looks are not enough. But, you can stand out from any crowded online dating site! All you need is a dating profile so engaging, it gets attention and keeps it - and that's my speciality (sic)!"

MP: Prices start at $20 to re-write an existing profile, and $80 to write an entire new profile.  Let's hope the spelling is better than Kate's own ad copy above!

Just add "I probably will not live more than another five years and you may become a very wealthy widow" and you will get even more replies.

Wow. Maybe I can branch out my current writing jobs to online dating profiles. Curriculum, self-study, and grant writing is boring.

Don't assume the words spelled wrong are mistakes. After all, who wants a smart date? Easy and rich is [sic] usually more desireable [sic] !

The job market is really hard nowadays and who knows how long it will last. A few of my friends that I recently graduated college with still have not found jobs yet, so that's why I decided to continue my education in graduate school. So if you can make a career out of writing ads for a dating profile than so be it. Like they say you gotta make a dollar out of fifteen cents. You gotta find creative ways to make money in these hard times.

I really hope this job market turns around because what if I get out of graduate school and still there are no jobs!

This is slightly worse than the "college admissions consultant" market.

They charge students and their families to review applications (including essays) and provide life advice to make a high school senior a competitive as possible.

From a website:

Our goal is to make you so happy with the help provided your student that when we are done you have to tell everyone you know that they need to work with College Adissions [sic] Partners to help their student find the best college.

Let's hope that their guidance isn't as bad as their typo.
